The last half of our trip ~ 2.5 weeks in Norway. We spent this time in Oslo visiting Guy’s friends before heading by train to Bergen, and then up to the Lofoten Islands, where Guy lived for a few years in his mid twenties. A gorgeous, albeit expensive country enveloped in dramatic, natural beauty and jagged mountain landscapes. Last photo is of our final dip in the sea, north of the arctic circle, in between sauna sessions. And we almost saw some northern lights… almost. And now we’re home! Reunited with my dogs and garden, friends and family. Settling back in and feeling so much gratitude for this particular place on earth, Topanga Canyon. Traveling is such a privilege, but when you come home and stare in awe at your ocean, your mountains, your town and are embraced with open arms by your community, you realize just how lucky you are to live in this exact spot in the world. This little break from home was a lovely reminder of just how lucky we are to live here. #Norway

We are finally nearing the end of what feels like

We are finally nearing the end of what feels like a never ending trip. It’s been so magical but I’m also excited to get back home this weekend. I wanted to share some moments from the first half of this trip with my family in the UK. 🧡❤️

I’m off to the motherland (England) this week!!!

I’m off to the motherland (England) this week!!! Then to Scotland, and then to Norway. I’ll be gone for 5 weeks! Holy crap! I have never left my babies for this long. Needless to say I’m a big ball of mixed emotions - excitement, nerves, anxiety. Going to miss my dogs so much. But more than anything I’m beyond excited to skip around Europe with my favorite human @guywalkerisfabulous for 5 weeks of uninterrupted FUN. Also, spending 2 weeks in a Scottish castle with my family ain’t so bad either. 😁 Weeee!!!!!
