Tomorrow is Hike Club! Here are the deets:

🐌 Meet at Trippet Parking lot at 10am, 20828 Entrada Rd. I’ll be at the little informational hut by the bathrooms (second picture).

🐌 Parking - you can either pull into Trippet parking lot and pay $10 to park or park on the street and walk in.

🐌 We’ll hike up the fire road to Eagle Rock at 10:15. If you show up late, catch up with us on the trail. It’ll probably take us 2-2.5hrs to complete this hike.

🐌 It’s going to be cold tomorrow, and maybe even a little drizzly. 🌧 Dress accordingly.

Friends and neighbors - I’m starting a hike club!

On New Year’s Day I invited a few friends on a group hike in Red Rock (something we did the year before and loved), and just a couple hours later, 29 friends showed up to hike together. We had the best time marching single file like pack animals up the Boy Scout Trail. It was such a fulfilling day and something that I want to make happen more than once a year.

So if you live nearby and are wanting to get out on the trails but would like to hike with a crew, please join me! Everyone is welcome. We will be doing real hikes though, not slow and short walks. 😉

I’m hoping to make this a bi-monthly meet up. There will soon be an Eventbrite page to share and sign up at, but for now let’s just keep this simple.

I’ll be in the Trippet Ranch parking lot at 10am this Sunday. If you’d like to join, meet me there. We will leave by 10:15am and head up to Eagle Rock via the fire road, and down Musch Trail, the perfect first hike club hike. A Topanga classic. Send me a message if you plan to come so I know who to expect, but all good if you just show up as well.
