So excited for my clients to make the move to Topanga and start a family here. I know they will fit right into our community and feel so at home here on Medley Lane. I remember being in our hotel in Ischia, an island off of Naples during our honeymoon, negotiating this deal with the seller’s agent. It took a lot of back and forth to get to a price we could all agree upon, and with some bumps along the way, we finally closed escrow yesterday. All worth it!

Cheers to the listing agent @brettmillerhomes for working with me through the highs and lows of this deal. And to @the_curated_gentleman for holding it down while I was gone.

Giving Tuesday is today! 🍁 And as I am now the interim VP of Fundraising on the board of the @topangacommunitycenter, I am here to ask you, beloved community member, to please consider making a donation to the TCC today.

If you have ever attended @topangadays, played on our fabulous playground, watched an outdoor movie on the field, socialized at food truck Friday, took your kids to ballet or tae kwon do, attended an AA meeting here, partied it up at the Halloween carnival, or perused the annual swap meet, then you have enjoyed our beloved community house. And now it needs you to give a little love back. 🧡

In the last few months since I’ve joined the board I have seen just how much work and energy the volunteers and board members (all unpaid!) put into keeping the community center open for all. It seriously takes a village! Luckily, we have the very best village, so we’ve been able to enjoy this place continuously since 1949.

💚 But it is community funded, meaning we don’t receive tax dollars, but we rely on generous donations from our community. So if you have a little extra cash in your wallet, please keep the @topangacommunitycenter in mind this holiday season. Link in bio to donate.
